Welcome to Baljalla

From the moment I arrived at Baljalla (an adorable digital nomad community in Pescadero), I felt extremely welcome. Relieved. Some stability for a bit 🤍

There were so many units to choose from, and Kyla told me we could move anything around to make the space comfortable. I had planned on a Cabana, since they're the cheapest. But in this moment I needed comfort, a space for all my things, sunlight and a private outdoor space. So Skydome it was.

It didn't take long to meet the people living in this amazing community, and every single one of them was lovely. I am so happy to be here.

A few months later, I had grown close with everyone and met many new friends at Cerritos beach. Most were from Todos Santos, the CUTEST little town. Truly magical.

The plan was to commit my time trying to recentre, working on my ADHD, and honing in on this whole "online work" thing. Overwhelming… There are endless ways to make money online, but which ones are scams? Which are MLMs? And what am I actually passionate about? Gawd, this sucks. It's frustrating. Reinventing yourself is much harder than I thought…. Especially when you've done the same thing your whole life. If I could give the younger version of me a piece of advice on this it would be NOT to stay in the same industry (unless you are a doctor, dentist, lawyer, etc) it pinholes you… I've always been someone who can accomplish anything, so why can't I focus on this? Too much time off, maybe? Too much time spent chasing this crazy dream? Probably a bit of both.

Trusting the Universe was my motive from the very beginning of this journey, and it has led me here… But this piece needs to align, and soon. I have to figure it out.
