Here we are

We made it. Home. An adorable little condo in Versailles: a great little community full of restaurants and shops, with the sun, sand and ocean literally out my doorstep. No regrets. Time to make it feel like home 🤍

A few trips to Costco and this space started to feel like ours. Just in time, too. We’ve got a lot of company coming… 22 trips to the airport (PVR), to be exact.

Lesson #1: Mexico isn’t as “cheap” as everyone thinks

I’m slowly learning that Mexico is not the bargain everyone assumes. Rent is a whole different game when you’re an expat.

Mine: 23,000 pesos per month for a renovated condo.
The ladies across the hall: 13,000 pesos for a unit that wasn’t renovated. (Not the same space, granted, but still.)

Lesson one, of many, learned. It’s still cute, though.
